We have a couple of small stores near us that carry a lot of the daily staples we use. One day Krista was in one of these stores and saw an interesting sight. There was a cat in the store and it was playing with a mouse in the aisle. By the time Krista asked the owner if she could take a picture, the cat was bored with the mouse, but you can still see it by the red box on the left side of the picture. This cat is now a fixture in the store in order to curb the mouse population. The owner wasn't in any rush to remove the dead mouse laying in the aisle.
We also have 3 larger stores in town that are more similar to "grocery stores" we have in the States. They have a section of packaged frozen items. We saw this beauty sitting in one of the freezers. It's a frozen chicken packaged nicely in a box. As a special bonus, you get the whole chicken head/neck in the box too. Any takers?

I saw a very large mouse/rat at that exact place run across his aisle and almost over my feet a few months ago. It creeps me out walking down that aisle now, but i am too lazy to drive all the way downtown to Score. Now here in Alberta I am addicted to shake 'n bake chicken and coffee shops :)
